Our Story: From a Personal Health Journey to a Global Mission

Ingredium was born out of a personal story — one that began with a health problem experienced by one of our founders. Searching for answers, we discovered something deeper: the hidden world of hormone disruptors, toxins, and misleading product labels that quietly affect millions of people every day.
As we dug deeper, we realized that many everyday products — from household cleaners to personal care items — contain chemicals linked to serious health issues. What shocked us even more was how difficult it is to truly understand a label, even for well-educated consumers.

That’s when we decided to take action.

The Problem: Confusing Labels and Misleading Marketing

Brands often use marketing terms like “natural,” “eco-friendly,” or “clean,” making consumers believe their products are safe — even when harmful ingredients are still inside.
We saw how easy it was for people to feel lost, frustrated, or misled. Ingredient lists are filled with complex chemical names, and there was no simple way to decode them.

The Solution: Ingredium App

We created Ingredium to make transparency simple.

Our app empowers users to make informed decisions by scanning any product’s ingredient list and instantly revealing:

1. A clear summary of what the product contains
2. A safety score based on the ingredients
3. A visual classification using three simple colours:

🔴 Red – Harmful or high-risk ingredients
🟡 Yellow – Moderate concern
🟢 Green – Neutral or safe ingredients
